Mission Statement

The SISD Board strives to create a learning environment which will promote the success of all students through quality education programs emphasizing academics while encouraging extracurricular activity involvement. The Board pledges to continually seek ways to promote Shamrock schools in the community and to support the administration and staff as they work to prepare students to become contributing members of society. Advocating an atmosphere of mutual respect both within the school and throughout the community, the Board commits itself to sustaining effective communication between students, parents and school personnel. Supporting educators as they instill confidence in students, the Board is devoted to providing opportunities for students to gain a strong foundation in new methods of accessing information through technology education. The Board is dedicated to remaining good stewards of financial and District resources while promoting excellence in every aspect of the school community. Through policymaking, the Board, working as a representative body of the community, will continue to do "what is in the best interest of the students."
